Just had a thought Nick as young Raffa called me earlier

Have ypu inspected all the wiring that goes from the vehicle into the bootlid?

    What fuse number keeps blowing?

Are there any central locking issues or bizarre happenings with the interior lights or anything else electrical that you have noticed?

ALL the car loom wiring other than the power cables runs down the passenger side from front to rear.
