    hi new to this so abit green still i have a bmw e36 1995 323i coupe auto
    problem with it is the central locking is not working i have to unlock both doors and the boot with the key i have the original bmw alarm on it with the one button fobs but still the doors dont unlock on it. i had the passenger window wasent working but that was just the motor on the mech inside the door checked the little black micro switch on the door lock at the same time and nothing not even the fuel cap locks mate had the same problem on his e30 bmw cabbi he changed a black box behind the driverside front speaker is there anthing i can do or check ??????

    Check the wires that run through the rubber tube from the body into the boot lid. These wear through and cause all sorts of central locking gremlins

    i've had the same problem, central locking just stopped working over winter. I have bought a second hand central locking/window ECU of ebay in the hope that will sort it
