    Hey people,

Any idea what could be causing the rev counter and fuel gauge to be on the blink? Strange that both of them have been knocked out.

Any help would be great as I aint got the dollars for a workshop diagnosis.

    Cheers guys

i had this problem yesterday we searched all the fuses and relays we also removed the whole speedo instument to check behind and couldnt find anything so went to the scrap yard and managed to find a second hand one just to slot str8 in i think it cost me about £15.worked straight away so we are assuming that it was something internal in the instruments as it happened when we touched a wire under the bonnet.it must have blown something inside.strange but problem solved id just buy a second hand speedo from the scrap yard if u ask them nicely they will let u quickly fit it outside the scrap yard to see if it does work before u buy it. hope this helps mate hope it helps mate
