The lecc'e windows on my coupe stopped working. I checked fuse which was ok. so I suspected it may be the zke module. I went to a local scrappie and got one for a tenner, the main number on the back being the same as the old one.

Fitted the replacement and bingo my windows worked BUT my windows dont drop the 5mm now. apperently the unit I fitted came out of a compact, and wouldn't have been coded to do the 5mm drop. Can the unit be coded to do this, or do I need one sopecifically out of a coupe?

I know i'm prob stating the obvious, but any help appreciated.

Ideally it would have been better to obtain one from a coupe, as you probably realise now. I personally would contact a local dealer and ask them if such a procedure exists. If the part numbers are identical then you should be in luck

Most likely going to need a Coupe module.

Have you tried holding the window switch up for 30 seconds once after the window has closed, this is the programming procedure for a Coupe.
