    ok as im swapping engines out,i need to swap ecu's, now ive taken the bottom one out,but i cant seem to get the top one out? the 2 scews on each side of it are for the other one i have removed. cant seem to get my hand in and around it? anyone else removed one like this before?is it connected on the other side.i dont want to pull on the ecu hard,just in case i do damage?ive taken 2 screws 1 each side at the top off. it wiggles around but wont come out?

    need to bump on this, wanting to replace the ecu's and ews.cant get the f****r out

    never done one before but in the flash is that not a screw coming from the top left of the EWS unit? apologies if its too obvious :S
    318IS PROJECT
    On the to do list:
    Fit: Supercharger, New exhaust - get a twin pipe, Vibe front speakers , Front splitter repair/respray install

    To do :Poss refurb wheels, Sort dents, Put front lights back to OEM, Respray, Remap

    Sideways is the only way forward

    na i took the nuts off from them,i just got it out. i just kept trying and trying. just kept moving it about,its held in to the carrier,by a nut you cant see. so got the brace that holds it out to..
