hi, my drivers side side light had stop working so when i looked i discovered one of the wires had corroded about 2 inches away from the plug (weird place i know) so after striping it and reconnecting it everytime i switch lights on i can hear a motor sound coming from drivers side lights and the side light still not working, any ideas what it could be ???

    any help would be appreciated

check for voltage at the bulb socket. Have you tryed tapping the light area gently to see if it might be a loose connection. Sounds like your motors getting power instead of your sidelight bulb.

Sounds like you have the connection to the headlamp dip by mistake

Also check your fuses, I dont know on bm's but on other cars sometimes the sidelights are on a seprate fuse left and right.
