Hi I have searched the site on how to change the headlight switch bulb and have found how to do this but i don't know which kind of bulb goes in there, could someone tell me what type of bulb goes in there so that I can have it before I take the switch out. Also does this one bulb illuminate the fog light switches as well?

    Cheers

This is the bulb you want....

I've got a box myself from this seller and they are fine. You may find the old bulb has welded itself into the holder so you may need to ream out the socket with a needle file.

Yes, it lights up the fog light switchs too!

There are a few guides around...

Hi thanks for the replies and the link to the bulbs I bought the bulbs mentioned and followed the how 2 and successfully changed he bulb but is the headlight switch supposed to stay light all the time as the rest only light up when the lights are on?

Also now I changed his bulb it seems brighter Han the heater control and cigarette lighter bulb is it possible to change these, I have seen that on the analogue climate control that you pull the knobs off and there are screws behind these to take the fascia off to change the plug, is this the same on a non climate analogue?

also how is the bulb on the cigarette lighter changed as I have read that you have to replace the full part and not just the bulb.

    All help appreciated

No. That one you have to get from BMW, or you can wrench it the old bulb and fit a leaded tiny bulb, or you can wait for my LED conversion DIY.

I'm having a bit of a brain freeze and can't be bothered to go outside and look!!
Is the cigar lighter bulb built into the handle of the actual lighter or around the socket it goes in??
