    Or get an alarm with Anti-Hijack. My old one, if the drivers door was opened while the engine was running you had to press a hidden switch within 2 mins or a misfire started that eventually brought the car to a halt with hazards on.



    There really is very little point interrupting the starter circuit as it is 1) so very obvious what had been done 2) relatively easy to get around. Better to interrupt something that stops the car starting but lets people sit there cranking it over in vain hope till the battery is flat.

    Better to use a single push switch with a relay to make a self holding relay in a fuel or ignition circuit so you get passive arming too

    You proberly have a immobiliser any way, mine is 94 and once the deadlocks are on the car will only turnover but not start,
