    Hi, where to start.

First the windscreen wipers on my car either work intermittant of full speed. So its 2 intermittants and 1 full speed. Also the jet washers dont work. My car has headlight washers too.

On the inside it has 2 water bottles. 1 bottle with 1 pump close to the windscreen that holds "concentrate" and the big bottle with 2 pumps that clean the windscreen and headlights. The "concentrate" pump works when you push in the stalk, it works for a wee squirt and thats it. The other two, nothing. There is power going to the pump but when the pump is connected to the power nothing happens.

Its not the wiper/washer module as i have changed that and it stays the same.

There are 2 green relays that if i remove them nothing works ( wipers or concentrate pump ).

Any help would be great as i am going mental and of course with it like it is , it wont pass an MOT.

Do you have a feed at the pump when the washers are being pressed?

when i pull the stalk there is power at the connector. But if you plug the connector in, the power dies. The pumps work as i connected them to the battery.

I mean when the connector is connected to the pump there is not enough power or no power

    Thats a strange fault...
Maybe the connector has gone tits up, when the modules fail they tend to stop everything working.
Maybe a break in the wire somewhere could be your problem?

That is an odd problem.... But sounds like it could be an earth problem.

Can you splice into the earth from the pump to the chassis/engine ?

Are you trying this when parked up or driving ? because when the wipers are in position 2 ie 1 after intermitent they do turn intermitent when the car stops. Or at least mine do and then when I start driving again it goes back to constant wipe mode.

Thanks Button Below, Be a Sport...

no, the wipers just go intermittant in position 1 and 2, then full pelt in position 3.

So any ideas what the problem might be?
