    hi

i am having problems with the central locking on my beemer, when i turn the key in the driver door it locks then unlocks itself.

It locks if i hold the key in the locked position for a couple of seconds so it doesnt unlock that door, but then i have to go an individually lock the boot and the passenger door again.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I would check the wiring loom that runs into the N/S of the bootlid. You will see it clipped to the boot hinge. This breaks internally causing the same faults as you describe....
