Hi everyone changed my window regulator today as it was missing a couple of teeth! I have a problem with my windows in as much as they dont go down I open the door I thought it was the mirco switches but now I am not so sure! Both the windows dont work and neither does the button that lowers all the windows at once, are these linked in any way ? Is there a relay ?? If so where ?? Thanks in advance Kelvin

Try a new switch in the centre console and then microswitches in the door latch (complete unit).

The e36 uses a ZKE also known as a body control module which is behind the glovebox
