    Which fuse No. was it?
When you say car will not start, does it crank over at all, or is there just nothing when you turn the key?

it sounds like that blown fuse when you first started was a symtom of a problem with your car, like spots are for acne. I would say this fuse is related so run a search on google including the fuse blowing.

    good luck

You need to establish whether you have fuel or spark at the plugs, pull a spark plug and put it in the coil and crank the engine over with the plug about 6mm away from a good earth point, it should spark. If yes then check for fuel from the fuel filter pipe by removing it and when cranked over. If yes then check for injector pulse with a test light or noid light.

If the fuse keeps blowing and seems to be causing other problems, as you were working in the boot area, check the wiring that leads from the car into the boot. Pull back the rubber sheath and check for damage to any of the wiring. (outside chance/worth a check)
