Ok ive just bought my new 325i e36 yesterday, and today decided to change steering wheel, so disconnected the battery not to be killed by the airbag, so have changed steering wheel and all goin good, reconnected battery and now every time i get into the car the alarm goes off.

Its a gemini alarm system under the bonnet with a on/off switch that u turn with a key. problem is have no key for the alarm or fob to switch alarm off?

any ideas as i cant start the car now

Depends on how much you need the car running and how competent you are with electrics. If it were me and I had no key or fob then I'd cut it out. If you are not confident call out a good auto alarm specialist to remove it.

have you checked all of the fuses under the bonnet
i had the steering wheel off the coup and i accidently shorted a wire which blew a couple of 5 amp fuses one of which did the alarm
everytime i went near the car it went apesh*t
