    Negative, created an absolute ballache when I was trying to wire the Neons up in my car.

    It depends why you're asking. On your car the door switches switch a negative to the ZKE which then drives a positive to the light.
    On Mr RYM's 1992 car (not sure here cos he's changed out so much of it) The door switch switches a negative to the central locking module which drives a negative to the light.
    That's the smart arse answer

    that is a smart answer, lol. its becouse on the alarm i have put in it has a trigger door signal that you put into the interior light and it said depending on neg or pos for wire, i have just attached it tome the dome light any side as when you open the door lights turn on and the alarm goes of if u dnt disarm the car if it make sence lol

    Will it still work if the interior light bulb is removed?

    didnt try that, what i done was took the bulb out and put a test light to the connector which holds the bulb with it turned off and got nothing so i had turn turn it on so that when u open the door the dome light comes on, i hope i got it right lol

    I'm sure it will be fine but I would want to personally check it if it were mine just to be sure everything works well if the bulb was to blow. I'm pretty sure that when I was messing with mine If I got the wiring wrong then NONE of the lights would illuminate (so long ago I can't remember 100%)
