still no fixed the poblem, i have the e36 ZKE module on my car which powes the windows and central locking, my sunroof still works fine, just confused about the widows. I have tryed a different module from another 318i from the same year.

I kno this cant be a comfort relay as mine car was registed late 1994 and all is controled by the unit, has anyone got any ideas

    thanks

You don't mention the fact that you've checked the fuse... ?

Have you been doing any work where you could have disturbed any wiring, like in the footwell areas where the earth points are?

Fuses for the ZKE are Nos.7, 14, 33, 35, 43. No. 14 is for the windows, but I'd check them all.
