I started with analogue clock went to 7 button then upgraded to 18 button. My question is I don't understand why the mpg and speed register as --.-- and when I run test 2 it says 0.0L/100km? Anyone know why this could be?

Yes, you are not picking up the signal from the instrument cluster correctly for speed / distance

You need to review the connectors carefully and come back with a list of the terminals and what you connected where.

Check each wire we need to know what is actually connected and not what you think is connected.

Mind me asking, Was it easy upgrading from the analogue clock to the 7 button OBC? I feel like doing that with my e36 because the analogue clock looks horrible.
