Hey i was wondering if my car's alarm actualy does anything, i dont have a fob i only use the key to get into car and to lock it, in the manual it says it has a anti tilt device and all this other stuff but it also says you know its on when the indicators flash. mine dont flash, there is no light on the dash to suggest any alarm is activated? any ideas? there is a alarm horn under bonnet and some random thing with a key hole under the bonnet also, when i got the car the salesman said its for if you go on holiday you can shut the car down completly by putting the key in and turning it!

    any ideas?

lol that salesman would tell you a porkpie was vegetarian just to seel it! That keyhole turns the siren on/off. You'll need a fob to activate it, theyre cheap enough and on the 3G-EWS alarm you can programe them yourself.

If you want to brave the cold, go to your car and take the glovebox out and you should have an alarm module in there.

If this is a 1994 car the it will be the single button 3T system which needs programming at a dealer/BMW Indepedent/Sigma alarm specialist
