    Are you sure the speakers are wired + to + and - to -...

    ive put the speaker wires -+ -+ as you see this on the amp ?

    And you have matched that to the speakers? I have seen them cut out like yours is if the speakers are the wrong way around...

    If everythings connected up right mate I reckon your amp could be goosed if its staying in protection mode.

    yea i even switched them around to check i was correct . what u mean wrong way around ? they are vibe aftermarket speakers not the originals. i really think the earth is too small in gauge its annoying this lol

    should the earth be short cause mine is about 4ft plus long and thicker

    The length doesn't really matter mate cos your not running heavy bass off the amp. Unplug the RCA leads and see if the amp goes into protection, if it does then you know its a gonner.

    Double check your speakers again, they maybe shorting and causing the amp to go into protection.

    it used to stay in protection mode before i connected the rca leads thats the only lead i forgot to connect . bought it today aswell hope its not a dud. its only a small 200w amp i got it for a tenner lol .

    the price explains it all lol, I reckon it probably wrecked. Unless you want to open it and have a look inside for burnt parts/water marks. But imo it won't be worth repairing - 200watts is not alot.

    i know i just thought it was bargain and would power just the 2 rear speakers. it says 275w on the back of the speakers and the amp is 200w is this the problem
