    hi to all

i have recently bought an e36 on an L reg 93

didnt notice when io purchased but when the car is turned off

the obc, electric window switches and the milleage dispaly are staying lit up

this i know shouldnt happen from owning many bmws in the past

i have had a look round the wiring under the dash etc and nothing looks to have been tampered with so no obvious reason

does anyone know why this is happening??
or how i can fix this problem

as after about 3 days wether the car is driven or not the battery is running flat

i have for now unplugged the obc and am using the window switch cutoff button but the battery still dies

any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Daz

Open the boot and you will see the loom going into it more or less straight away-its one the nearside(passenger side)

ok just checked that part of the loom and it all looks ok
no signs of damage on any wires there
my car does a hella boot spoiler with brake light fitted that has been wired to the passenger side rear light but the wiring again looks ok and brakelight on the spoiler works as it should
