    Have you checked the fuses as of yet?

    Also I presume from your original post that the instrument cluster didn't work when you got the car?

    checked fuses all ok, yeah bought the car with a lot of wiring problems, the doors have crushed the wiring in the checks.

    Could someone have changed the cluster and now it needs re-coded. Just a thought, I'm not sure if that would be the case.
    Anyway, if you find no problems with the sensor on the diff, and the binnacle test works, then it may be worth checking connector X20 which is a round electrical connector next to the fusebox. The speedo and rev counter and speed signals all connect through here.

    hey all, not carried out the dash test yet as not had a chance to do anywork to the car, been to busy at work, will be trying everything that you have all sugested this week while im re-wiring it, will post an update of how i get on
