    1993 318i auto saloon.

Airbag light is on (only have driver airbag) and was wondering where the connectors are so I can clean them up?

I assumed they were under the seat so checked under the driver's seat but can't seem to find anything. Are they under there and if so where abouts? Are they hard to find?

Consulted the Haynes manual but there is very little info in there regarding Airbag.

    Thanks.

It "could" be the slip ring, does the horn work?

The first port of call should be getting the BMW fault codes read for the cars ECU(s), any Main dealer(more expensive), BMW Independent specialist or good independent garage should be able to do this for you, get a copy of any codes and then post them up here and we will help out where we can with what you need to do next.

Yes the horn works just fine.

I will get a code check done then and get back on here with them.

Had a similar problem on my 1996 mondeo with airbag light on and was simply a dodgy connector under the seats which needed cleaning. Not so simple on a BMW it seems.
