the module I found was the old wipe/wash one I changed for a new one thinking that was problem with system but ended up being a shorting fuse. my spare plug is what you thought it was, where the alarm module goes. The only thing I can think of changing now is the fusebox? dont know if this could be problem as Im getting power to the relays but just not to fuel pump fuse? or possibly wires inside the car for the dme?? Really puzzled

I can't remember what the outcome of the tests you did were. When you shorted across the pins on the fuel pump relay did you then get power to the fuse, and did the pump then run. If so, then the relay must not be getting energised when you try to start the car. If the +12v is present where it should be at the relay then it only then needs the negative from the DME to run the pump.
If, when you shorted across the pins there was no voltage at the fuse or at the pump then it will be a connection problem on the wiring.

Hey I got power to fuse when I ran a wire across. Ive checked for main and ignition power at relays and they are fine. so must be dme negative? would this cause no spark as well? where will I start with ground wires for it?
