    hi guys,got a problem with my central locking on my e36,when i lock doors they unlock thereselve straight awy any ideas/cheers steve

    Have a wee check of the cables at the side of the boot lid make sure there not damaged

    cheers lads had a look but all wires seam intact,ill strip of cover and check em all along that bitcould this problem be down to a relay?

    Strip off the cover mate. I had the same prob on my old 318. The wiring looked ok but was broken internally...

    because they were broken internally how did you fix it?

    I stripped the damaged sections out of the wiring and soldered in new sections of wire...
    Then heatshrunk the loom back together...
