Righty, I'm going to puchase some jump leads because I've been caught out a few times and had to run about looking for some to borrow..

Seen some that are 200 amp, will these be good enough? It's just for use on two fairly small (my 318is and a 1600cc pile of shite Renault) petrol cars. I thank you!

You should get something with an anti surge protector so you don't blow your ecu or something...

Has anyone on here actually had thier ecu "spiked" by using normal jump leads? I used them them a few times on the bimmer, also when stuck in the middle of nowhere I used them on the renault (against Renaults advice..) with no probs..

So this anti surge thing, is it built into these battery pack thingymebobs? Renault recommend these but not car to car.
