Well my thread title details are certainly getting interesting

    1992 E36 318is Shell

    1995 E36 3.0litre M3 Engine and running gear etc

    1996 E36 328 wiring loom

Anyway, here is the problem. I have a Toad alarm fitted to the wiring loom obtained from the 328.

What I have noticed is that the alarm will not lock the central locking when using the key fob. It all locks and unlocks fine with the key and the alarm arms and disarms okay on the fob.

The alarm will unlock the central locking if the car has been locked with the key previously but the alarm will not lock the car

    Help is very much appreciated

Do you have access to the wiring from the Toad unit. Can you tell where the wires connect to the car's loom.

I've not refitted the carpet or glove box yet so I have relatively good access to the alarm wiring
