    The other day i found the time to take my door card off to see why my electric window doesnt go down when i keep the button pushed down i found out 1 of the carbon brushes has dropped out and disitagrated ( time for a new window motor ) while i had the card off i noticed a white plug with nothing connected to it i looked at the wiring diagram and couldnt find out what it is. i was wondering if anyone knows what it is i have included a pic

    Some models have spare plugs

    My 318is has a couple including a white one too

    is there no wires on the diagram that match those colour wires?

    Could be for heated door locks which your car may not have.

    Had a look through the diagrams but couldn't find anything to match.
    On later models there is a white 2 pin plug with a violet/white/yellow and brown/orange wire which is for window monitoring switch (to do with alarm/DWA). These sent signals to the ZKE module which I don't think your car has.
