Please help!! getting desperate now having spent days on both the car and the internet trying to find this fault. My dash lights and associated lighting on dials and switches keeps going off, it seems a have a low spec wiring loom and because of this no LCM. I suspect it is a problem with a relay somewhere but have been unable to locate it, i have removed all relays in the front fusebox with the lights on and checked in the rear box under the rear seat but still can't find it. All the wiring schematics i have found only seem to show the circuit with an LCM, and all the forums i have looked on tell me solutions but with an LCM again.
If anyone has any ideas and ideally a solution it would be much appreciated

Hi guys was really hoping this was going to be the solution to my problem but it's not looking too promising at the moment. I would just like to add one other thing that i have noticed about this problem that may be related, while looking for the fault yesterday in a quiet place i heard intermitent noices coming from the headlight beam adjuster motor on the RH side of the car, it was activating for about a second and then stopping but at random so i am guessing that the problem is related maybe from the same relay or control module wherever the hell bmw have hidden it! [remembering that i do not have an LCM]

cheers guys any suggestions would be welcome at this moment in time

    Chunky
