    Hi Newbie here needing help, has anybody had the same problem. My engine stays one when i take the key out of the ignition and i have to stall it to cut out the engine but the electrics stay on the dash, so have to disconnect the battery. I did replace five fuses in the fuse box but dont know where to start to solve the problem pls pls help

    Sounds like you have a faulty ignition switch

    hi cool thank you, the key turns fine in the igntion barrel no probs there, and starts fine. changed fuses and some relays bt problems still there

    If you saying that the engine still remains on after you remove the key, then you still have the same problem as the one in the link above.

    To be sure remove the ignition switch from the rear of the ignition barrel, then use a screw driver to start the car and turn it off, if it works fine then IT IS the barrel at fault.
