yes unplugged as its getting very warm from being constantly on
the windows still work, but the sunroof does not.
the sunroof also has a reley next to the motor tho.
If you pull out fuse F1 do the windows still work with the comfort relay unplugged
yes the windows still work with fuse F1 out
im having to take the relay in and out to use the sunoof?
Your windows don't seem to be wired as per the wiring diagrams as they wouldn't work if the comfort relay was out.
If you plug in the relay and remove fuse F1 does the sunroof work?
Also, I think there is a cut out switch on the dash for the windows? I don't know if it can be tripped manually or not but you could try unplugging the wires from the back of it to see if the sunroof still works.
I'm just trying to see where things are getting their power from.
No, the sunroof will not workIf you plug in the relay and remove fuse F1 does the sunroof work? After pressing the cut out switch a few times and nothing still working, I took the switch out to find NO wires on it , after poking about the back od the dash, I found 2 wires ( re/purple and red/brown ) the brown one had half a fuse in , so I put the 2 wirs on the switch and put the fuse back in , everything back working , other then the windows through the comfort relay. Also, I think there is a cut out switch on the dash for the windows? I don't know if it can be tripped manually or not but you could try unplugging the wires from the back of it to see if the sunroof still works.
Thank you very much for all your help.
That's what I was thinking. Someone has been doing a bit of jiggerypokery with your wiring.
At least it's all working now, but I wonder why someone has modded it. Maybe there was a fault somewhere and they have bypassed it.
If it was me I'd want to trace it out.
