    Hi all,

After the alarm had gone of for 5 days in a row, I thought that I would try and find the fault. The first thing that was wrong the alternator was only putting out 10v, so got a new 14v reg and fitted it. Great it works great charging the battey.

Then 2 days later it started to set the alarm off again, this time i done a battery parasitic drain test. It was pulling 90 . the fuse that was at fault was F33 - Cigar Ligher / Interior light. The fuse was taken out and the reading was 3, I kept the fuse out as the two items that it was running are not that important.

What I did not know was it also runs the front and rear d/s side lights, so the fuse had to back in.

But now the original problem is back.

Can anyone tell me how to track down the individual problem that pulling the power ?

I would check the boot switch as mentioned above...then I would also check the loom going into the bootlid for breakages...Also worth checking the bonnet switch and door switches too
