    E34 535i M30 HT leads have been tested today with a multi meter set at 20k and these are the following readings,the reading which concerned me most was from the the King Coil Lead.

    King Coil Lead:
    1.99
    HT Lead:
    1=6.03
    2=5.58
    3=5.90
    4=5.56
    5=5.95
    6=6.06

    This car is a non starter and I am not getting any spark.
    The coils seems within range.
    Are these leads within range?
    Many thanks.

    Different leads will have different resistances (some good leads have it stamped on them.
    They can range from probably 5k to 10k per metre, so I would normally expect all the leads to fall within an acceptable range depending on their length. So depending on the length of the king lead, it may be worth trying another lead.
