I have the same alarm that I fitted last weekend. From what I've read, the window close function requires buttons 3 and 4 to be pressed and held until the windows are closed?
But to wire it, just wire the white wire from the alarm to the close door wire on the ZKE (pin 17). I'm just waiting for my diodes to arrive, then gonna wire window closure and deadlock

I however, do not have the PIN for mine, so can't change any settings. Took mine off another car at work lol.

ako89 save your pennies, it won't wind the windows up without having the pin because you'll need it to get into the "switches" of the alarm to program the fob functions.

You never know it already might be programmed so worth a try anyway

I can get the PIN from TOAD for 19.99 with my serial number lol.
Even with another £20 on top of teh price I paid, still less than half of a new one lol.

They have a function already built in and switched on, just needs to be wired.
however I'm not using the built in function as it means having to hold 2 buttons to close everything.
I'm going to use the timer one, set to about 20secs which requires the PIN to set up lol.

Oh right, In the installation manual it says do not loose the PIN as you'll need a new brain unit I've got mine wired up so the windows rise when I press lock, you can have it so the windows raise if you keep the lock button pressed but thats pointless and you'll loose the panic facility if you ever wanted to set your alarm off.

Its the same wire (i think white one) and its already set to a 20sec pulse

can anyone confirm weather the e36 lock signal is positive or negative?

sham says positive but looking at a 1998 bmw etm e36 pdf wiring guide it shows a negative feed needed
