Hope this is the right area for this question,I have a '10 plate 318d Msport only had it about a month and while I was waiting on the missus the other night I was pressing buttons(as guys do) I noticed that my driver side wing mirror returns slower than the passenger side one and I just wondered if this is the norm?also when I reverse only the passenger side mirror tilts is this how this is supposed to be?last 3 series I had had manual ones so bit confused.

Thanks in light of any answers posted 👍

    2008. 320d MSport.

Yes that is quite correct the passenger mirror is the only one that tilts on reversing.
my folding mirrors work as the same speed as each other.

Thanks for the reply,as I said mine seems a little lazy in the driver side not by much but I noticed it,and the reason I asked about the tilt function is because I was looking into it reading other threads and I saw Someone else asking similar but had no reply on that issue.

Again thanks for the reply much appreciated.
