Hi all, I have an 04 E53 X5 Sport. When I put the car into reverse the parking sensor light flashes and I get 3 loud beeps.. and that's it! Looking at the car it has sensors all round but if I drive VERY close to anything front or back I don't get and audible alerts.

    Anyone any idea's?

    Many thanks

    Steven

I had th same problem, you have to replace the faulty ones.If you put it in reverse, key turned on, engine off, put your ear against each sensor, the ones that are working will make a very faint ticking, the sensor faulty won't , I had to replace 2
