    Hi guys.

Have spotted some discs on ebay for my 330CI 54 plate, wondered if someone would be kind enough to have a look at the auction, and tell me if A. they would fit, and B. if they look ok?

I have no idea when it comes to brakes!
    cheers guys

They look fine and they will fit your car. I personally would go for some branded items such as brembo but for the money of those they aren't really to be sniffed at.

cheers mate, forgive me im thick as the proverbial with brakes and mechanics in general... can you get crap brakes... they are cheap so dont want them to be bismal, will buy some mintex pads or similar to go with them... but really havent got the money for brembo, considering that they are around three times the price of these

Personally I'd go for these: Meyle Brake Disc Zinc Coated E46 : C3BMW Ltd

Or a set of pagids from eurocarparts + 25% off code (BIMFOR25).

Drilled and grooved will be noisy and create dust and they'll chew through the pads.I think Mintex have a poor reputation for creating a lot of dust.

they work out at £122.. are they much better than the ones i have posted? As they work out at £75...

Talking around £160 from euro car parts?

If mintex are poor, can pick them up for around £50.. what other pads would you reccommend?

i dont want cheap quality, but havent got the money for top notch, so want the best i can get for as little as possible

How have you got the ebay ones for £75?

I personally think the ebay ones are false economy.

I fell for it last year with my 320i, bought some front disc brakes and pads off ebay for £40 ish. 3-4 Months later they had warped and were causing steering judder. I ended up buying pagid ones and pads from ECP for around £70, they have been perfect since.

If I was buying for my car I'd buy the Meyle brake discs I posted.

Then for pads I'd either get:
The Jurid pads that C3BMW also do for £67
    or
Pagid ones from ECP for £55.80 (with the 25% voucher).

    £85 even... sorry..

the pagid work out fairly expensive from euro car parts...even with the code.

How about the meyle ones on the link above, are they good, or just ok?
