    Hi,

My DSC light came on and I took my E90 320d to the dealers to have it diagnosed. My car had 68k miles with FBMWSH so I was expecting this to be covered by a goodwill guesture. But no, I was told that my DSC hydraulic unit needed replacing and BMW would only pay 50% of the part.

I called a local place who have the same diagnostic stuff as BMW. The guy came to me and plugged it in. He said that he can do for £400, using original BMW parts. I snapped him up. He came the next day and took about 3 hours and hey presto! all done light is off and the new unit has 12 months warranty.

If anyone needs his number then just pm me. Really good guy - definitley recommended. He is in Luton.

I have the same fault! DSC light has come on. Error code is cc-id 35 - This means DSC failure.

I know if i take it to the dealers they will charge me a arm and a leg.

Could you please give me the number of the guy in Luton who fixed yours!

    Thank you

    Hi Afi747

I think i am encountering a similar issue and wanted confirmation if this is the same eror message you got on your car and got it fixed?

It actually appeared a week after I hit the curb. Which is unfortunate because I am actually looking to sell my car :(

    It is a BMW320i E90 Msport 56 plate.

I have not taken it to BMW yet but I did take it to a local garage who plugged their system in and he told me it came up with the error Pressure Sensor 1...

Do you know anyone in London that may be able to fix it or should I take it to the local BMW and see if they do a good will gesture? :(

    Thanks

    Hi there

I just had my Z4 warning lights diagnosed by an independent BMW garage and it came back with 5E20 pressure sensor and 5E24 pressure sensor. It's a 2004 car with only 28k miles so what is my best course of action to avoid the 1824 pounds I was quoted for a new hydro unit DCS?

If I take it to a dealer will they be able to get a repair kit instead as mentioned above for some other BMWs at a cost of around 400 pounds?

Please help! This is a scary bill I really want to avoid if at all possible!!

    Thanks
    FlanBMW

I've just had my ABS/DSC lights come on, and a local garage diagnostics say that it's the ABS hydro unit. After speaking to a BMW specialist, it sounds like it's uncommon in Z4's and that the repair kit isn't available for Z4's as a result. Did you find an alternative way of fixing yours rather than paying the £1800+? Please help!

Hi has anybody used one of these repair kits, are they fairly straight forward or are they a nightmare. Rather than fork out the cost of a new dsc unit it would be better if it's possible to repair the old one
