    after months of listening to a rattle in my car i finally went to a beemer garage to get it checked out (down 50 quid straight away) seemingly its the rear coil spring is broken and i was quoted £175 to replace it this sounds a bit much am i right

    Considering you can replace all four for lowering springs for that price or there abouts I would say that is expensive.

    All suspension components should be replaced in pairs too
