As mentioned in a previous post I need a set of discs and pads all round - was thinking of a set of these (seem good value)

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=360112392806

    Has anyone used these?

Failing that was going to get soem FEBI discs from Motorforce and some Mintex pads.

    Cheers

I wouldn't touch unbranded discs...Mintex pads are ok. Interesting about the plating bit . Have you considered Brembo if you want a race set up?

Tried calling a few place today but they're struggling to get them - apparently the importer has gone bust?

Maybe its best to stick with discs from Febi / Jurid etc then?

Just spoken to GSF who have Brembo discs in stock (£33 each) and Textar pads which they reckon is a fantastic combo.

    Any views on Textar pads?

Textar is one of the brands approved by BMW for OE use. I've gone with the Brembo grooved set up in the front and plain Brembo rears, both using Textar pads without any problems
