Hi everyone, just joined and am new to all this...
Anyway, I have had the M3 for a year now, it is only used for track days and I have already done a lot of the usual mods and stripped 220 kgs out of the car.
My question is about front brake upgrades.
I fitted EBC discs and Yellow Stuff pads all round, they work ok, but the pads dont last long, I have changed two complete sets in 3,000 track day miles.
The discs are hanging in there, but I am looking for some better stopping power now, especially front end.

I have read many articles on big brake upgrades, fitting 840 front calipers and upgrading to E46 discs and calipers.

My budget does not run to fitting a decent big brake kit, AP or whatever.
Has anyone just gone for front E46 M3 calipers, discs and upgraded pads with any success, thanks?

    Try Performance Friction pads,
Very good value and good braking power.
