Firstly I just wanted to know what coilovers people tend to go for on the coupes. Last time I bought coilovers where a 'cheap' set of FK's for my mk4 golf and I hated the ride on it but I did have it all the way down etc etc..

Also could a few people show me their ride on coilovers??

Also my neighbour has a bought a 60mm lowering kit for his coupe?? He would like some pictures to know how low it's gonna sit, I'm presuming not very but he still wants too see

    Thanks

    Silver e36 coupe 316.

    Done :
17" BMW alloy wheels / 328 e36 front brake set-up / JVC head unit / Bosch flat blades

whats the budget you've got to spend on them?
i'm running kw variant 2's on mine and think they are great
more height adjustment than what i could ask for and adjustable dampers too so you can have the ride as hard or soft as you require
(although the rear dampers are a pain to adjust!)
loads of pics in my project thread http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...t-rims-t57686/ if your interested although all the pics still have lots of adjustment left!

Well it all depends on what I am getting for my money and how easy the adjusting is really. I have already been following your thread for a while and I'm pretty sure I seen it on AB25 too??

How much did your suspension cost??

Check out my old e36 coupe project

The blood, the sweat, the tears thread as I had 60/40mm springs on bilstein shocks on that and a brilliant ride and handling.

My coilovers arnt too bad a ride to be honest

Are you lowering for looks or performance? This will effect your budget by a fair bit.

I run HSDs. £800 and fully adjustable. Ride can be a bit stiff for some but you get used to it. As far as handling goes they're great. But tbh if it's mainly for looks then most wouldn't pay that much. Here are a couple of pictures though...

I could go lower but I wanted to keep it practical as well.

I've tunning art on mine. Cheap as chips but harsh on bumpy roads...p*sses me off sometimes tbh. It never used to bother me. It does now but for under 200 quid it's to be expected
