    hey guys was wondering if any one knows will Technix coilovas for a 318is be ok fitted to a 323i a mate of mine has a set and there going cheap just wondering if they will cope with the extra wieght at the front

    I thought they were specific 4cyl / 6cyl but could be completely wrong...

    its to do with the spring rating,6cyl have beefier springs to cope with all the extra weight
    that a 6cyl has,the struts might be bigger too on a 6cyl

    It doesnt matter with cheap coilovers. They are a generic design to fit 4 and 6 cylinder cars.

    They fit all models apart from the m3 but if your not sure cross reference part no with their website but I'm 99% sure they fit

    Correct, and higher end coilovers have matched springs and dampers for the 4 and 6 cyl cars.....

    thanks very much for the info been much appreicated , i was told they fit all models aprt from the m3 but just wanted to check
