basically guys i already knew my spring was snapped but was looking at the springs through the alloys and i noticed they are all red in colour (so i assumed they were spax or g-max etc) and all seem to be in the same condition etc,

but on the 1 that's snapped i noticed it says "BMW1 415 FRONT"

does this mean its just standard springs on my bilsteins shocks??

i also assume they will all be standard then and are they already lowered?

as i would prefer another brand than standard unless they are good enough and do'nt want it too low and rubbing as i run on MV2's 18's think tyres are 225/40/18's!!!!

    urgent help guys please!

all original BMW springs were black, with a few paint dabs to tell them apart in the factory.

You'll have some aftermarket lowering springs fitted, I know the ones you could get from GSF used to be red

Sound like spax to me, can't be sure though until you get them off. Spax noirmally put the cars name on the spring in white writing.
