I'd still be tempted with the coilovers from hottuning to be honest

Very well priced and nothing to lose if you don't like them, post them on ebay and get your money back

True... £200 or whatever it is is a steal to be fair...

I just think... can a set of coilovers made for £200 really be well built, no offence, and last long? and stand up to a bit of abuse?

    Who told you that?

If everyone went off of the information they were given there wouldn't be a single item ever sold. Too many people like to give advice on a "oh so and so who is a mate of my dad's cousins girlfriend had a brother who had a mate who had them"

The amount of times I've heard this "HARSH RIDE RUBBISH" I have H&R coilovers set as low as I can get them on 20" wheels running 225/30 20 & 235/30 20 tyres and I don't find the ride harsh.

    Proof is in the pudding

There is a member on here that has had them fitted as is very impressed

LOL!! Well i know VERY little about the topic.... But on a VW website last night someone said "Avoid them at all costs..." and then one other said "harsh ride your mrs wont be impressed" and a few more comments... Then one person said "Found nothing wrong with them at all if your on a budget hottunings are a good way to go"

Just saw the thread and thought i'd pass on what i read, the other half is the mechanical genious... me just interested :-)
