I used Greenstuff pads on my 200sx and they faded fairly quickly. Not great on heavier cars aither...I dont rate them for anything other than keeping your alloys a wee bit cleaner. Personally i prefer a decent stop than clean wheels...
Another vote for DS2500's. They'll be going into the bm as soon as i get a chance.
Warping disks? a lot of it is down to drivers leaving their foot on the brakes after braking heavily.

Realistically, a spirited driver shouldnt need grooves or drilled holes in disks as the grooves "deglaze" the pads and the holes are there for extra airflow. I had AP 4 pots and 330mm disks on my last car, and they werent grooved or drilled. They didnt fade (i know they were big-so should resist fade!) round brands hatch....

er, oops, i didnt think about the extra noise. LOL maybe coz i drive a diesel.
i've just bought a full set of grooved discs, and Mintex pads.
i am a super enthusiastic driver, schnitzer suspension helps, but i doubt i'll ever put my 320d on a track.
i'll get get back to you guys after its all fitted.

Been thinking of getting new discs and pads for my 330 as they are fairly worn and heavily "lipped" now, although they still stop the car fine!
Been reading all the threads and oppinions on various discs and pads and I saw these on fleabay WDYT
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230315214741

They seem good value for money and I would have thought Mintex were a good make for both discs and pads...anyone had these?

    MDC1403 corresponds to front discs e46 330i but PAD1432 doesn't , should be MDB2620 for a e46 330i pads

    Thanks Ronnie
I'll drop them a line to check
Alternative is C3BMW who do Zimmerman Discs and Jurid pads for 120 delivered. Anyone used them for parts?

From various threads and forums the discs get a good write up and I think those pads are the same as OE?
Mine are now noisey a low speed as the pads are catching the inside edges

Jurid are good and are OE spec, Zimmerman seem to get a mixed reaction to be honest. ATE are good and IIRC Euros or GSF do them
