Had have my coilovers fitted now for a month or so and the car has developed a few niggles.

    1. Front end seems overly bouncy almost like driving a pogo stick?

    2. A lot of knocking from the rear when going up and down dips. Have changed RTABs, all top mounts Z3 plates etc and everything is tight still no idea. Sounds like its coming from in the boot turrets. How tight should the nut be on the top mount don't think i can get it any tighter though.

    3. Lots of squeaking again from the rear only thing i can think of doing is putting some grease in between the washers etc on the top mounts etc.

Any help would be great as i have searched to no avail for answers.

    Cheers
    Ian

did you get your coilover kit from hotuning?
i fit them to my car 1994 e36 318is and slammed it to the floor well bouncey,,,
then a week later higherd it a little still bouncey but you have to give it 3-4wks to total adjust in.
the rears are bouncey coz uve got like 10cm of movemnt thats it and it hits the damper.
yes tighten all the nuts to the limit look in your haynes manual that helped me alot
if you do deside to get it slammed be sure to get the tracking done straight away or you will rub the inner wheel arches and the rears dont rub as long as you dont exceed 17s.otherwise get the rear arches rolled..
hope that shined a bit of light

Well lowered the front 15mm today and that seems to have cured the bouncing, a bit more testing needed.

Also found the squeak, seems to be the shock when it's compressed by hand don't think i should just be able to push it down?, put it all back together and have a better look next week.

Can't seem to locate the knocking though, the search continues. On the plus side 4 new Falkens and a 4wa done today.

    Cheers

i got the knocking noise eliminated my engine mount had snapped because it puts strain on the bottom engine chassi that connects to the body work
and try tension the bottom arms for movement ans try wobbling the anti roll bars to hope that helps
