So about a week ago my steering wheel started wobbling following a car wash - naturally I assumed the water pressure had blown away my wheel weights so today I took the car down to have a balance. Got my mate to have a look to make sure I didn't get ripped off (standard procedure even though I was only getting a balance) and he told me my wheel was baking hot and he reckons the caliper must be seized. This makes sense as I have recently noticed I don't need to use my handbrake on slight hill starts anymore. He went to undo the wheel nuts to balance my wheels and they are all finger tight except the locker.
Could this possibly be connected? The O/S/F nuts were tight as youd expect but the N/S/F with the seized caliper had dangerously loose nuts?
Thanks in advance if anyone can shed some light.
