    Hi all,

my rear pads are due to be changed, ive been quoted £230 from stealers and £95 to £120 from local indys.

Ive been looking on Eurocarparts web site for prices and i can get the pads and sensors for roughly £40.

I know its a no brainer if i want to keep costs down, but my car has full BM Cooper history, would it bother you if you came to buy a BM and the car didnt have a service stamp for the pads? but had BM stamps for everything else up to date

Also what pads would you guys recomend Pagid, Eicher, Ate ot Textar (Euro sells all these makes)

Tbh, not much gain on having stamps with CBS. Would you really want to go into the dealer to change your microfilter only just for a stamp and the extortionate price you pay for it when it is a 5 min DIY? I would just put a tick in there yourself with a date, keep receipts and let the dealer stamp a proper service.

Proves my point...£35 for charcoal active filter (and I certainly hope that's what was fitted in yours) and the rest is for the stamp

I would get the main inspection services done there...your car will tell you when it is due (car symbol on a ramp). You can also have the oil service carried out with them as well (will include your microfilter change), but up to you really.

    A little update

I replaced the pads and sensors with pagid ones from Eruro's, it cost £44 in total.

Ive just fitted them and reset the service light and to be honest it was a doddle.

If anyones interest, the genuine ones that were in were Textar.
