Looking to purchase a front strut brace for my Bimmer, can anyone advise me if they've purchased one, how this altered the handling and whether it is a worth while investment... thanks, ste

Strut braces are a mod that a lot forget about... even myself!! haha.

With a strut brace you will find that once installed that the car will feel more confident in cornering and that the response from you turning the steering wheel to the car moving will be improved, and usually a fairly inexpensive modificaton.

Strut braces in short help stop the chassis from flexing, same thing that an anti roll bar and even a roll cage would do.

The only downside that if you hit a pothole or big bump while cornering the car can feel more 'skittish' but to be fair you shouldn't worry about that too much unless you are driving like a loony around some twistys.
