I've been told I need to replace front and back disks and pads. I'm wondering how much an upgrade on the brakes would be? Since I’m going to remap anyway.
You see in the picture that the calliper is quite rusted, that’s why I think an upgrade would better suited than just replacing the disk/pads?
    Any thoughts?

This happens to all callipers which is why members choose to have them painted.

I chose just to treat mine to a black heatproof spray.

I've always used EBC greenstuff pads with EBC grooved discs

Other members have different views on what set-up works best

Agreed. I just painted mine with red Hamerite when I upgraded my wheels. Makes them look much nicer, colour is down to the person, but generally, anything looks better than rust :P

I just use Textar or Mintex pads / discs. Find they work well.

Ahh right, well my price range was about £1000 ish... But abit of paint and new disk/pads sounds better.
    Thanks for your help lads.
