Both front tyres have scrubbed off on the outer 20%, left tyre almost completely. The steering is dull and also skittish.

I have wear in my anti-roll bar D bushes, and there's wear/movement on the wishbone rear bushes. The ball joints were replaced about a year ago. All other linkage checks out okay.

So - I'm thinking of upgrading these bushes to Powerflex, instead of the normal BMW ones. Has anyone had these on long term - and are they worth installing? Do they really make a significant difference to handling etc.etc.

After these are fixed, the car will be getting a full new set of new tyres, and a full wheel alignment to follow...

    Oh - it's a 330D touring, 03 with 18's (225 up front/255 on rear), 95K milage.

    Cheers!

a 4 wheel alignment is needed after any suspension work tbh
try these for your local centre
yes, powerflex are worth it...i noticed no additional noise, vibration or harshness after doing mine and, for the peace of mind it gives, its a worthwhile upgrade imo

there is absolutely no way I would even consider replacing worn bushes with anything other than powerflex..
